Convoy info.

Post by Uxbridge »

I really think that hovering over a convoy hex would give the owner of any traffic there information about what.

Something like:

UK to India: 4 EP, 1 Oil
USA to India: 12 EP, 0 Oil.

I have just spent a lot of time trying to guess where to have my escorts.

The convoy menu item shows you which convoys are active and which are not.
But it should show you the amounts going through there just hovering over the convoy lane on the map.

It works fine, so I'm not concerned by any bugs or so. What I mean is that I would like to know what is in the lane; like being able to open the door to the fridge instead of just having my wife tell me it's food in there.

Suppose, for instance, that UK and USA both send items to some countries, using the same sea lines. But for some reason not all of those goods is sent. As it stands now it's nay on impossible to track where everything is going or not, since the info box only gives away the total amount of resources in the lane.

Maybe the game doesn't track it this way, only check that it's possible to send goods and then mark them as sent. But if the info is technically viewable by the system, visual confirmation of what's in the lanes would be extremely useful. One doesn't have to see the info in the info box, a tooltip would suffice.
