AGS Turn 56

In the South two large pockets are formed, slowly pushing the enemy away from Rostov.

Stalingrad looks light years away, but I might be able to take Gronzy with 1st Pz.

Losses Turn 56

Still maintaining over 100,000 Soviet casualties so far per turn, however I pushed my Panzers hard and lost quite a few of them.

AGN Turn 57

The drive continues with minimal opposition, its seems that both The Leningrad & Volkhov Fronts are beaten.

I'm almost to the Rybinsk Reservoir.

AGC Turn 57

The attack on Moscow is delayed as I had to remove the threat in my rear, this lead to a opportunity I could not resist.

I pushed a Pz Reg through to Yaroslavi which is good but now I have move troops away from Moscow to keep Yaroslavi stretching my already thin lines thinner.

But its worth it as Moscow is isolated but seems to strong to I don't think I can take it.

AGS Turn 57

The Russians seem to have surrendered the Black Sea coast road as the Italian Army marches towards Batumi unopposed.

Most pockets are destroyed with another formed.

here too long supply lines for my Armies and getting longer every week.

well done, can't see a sustained Soviet offensive between now and the end of September and you have some big targets not too far from the current front lines

Thanks for the encouragement, hopefully one day I will actually play against a real person but that's a long way away from happening.

Truth be told I think the AI is going easy on me.[:D]

It seem in the North the Red Army is now a defeated rabble as both 16th & 18th Armee's continue to mop up.

Moscow Turn 58

Despite my doubts looking at the formidable defences in and around Moscow I attacked West Moscow which finally fell.

However this is not the strongest fortified position and it took two determined assaults.

AGC Turn 58

While the attack on the city commences the rest of the AG centre pushes outwards and North to secure Yaroslavi.

Small pockets are formed, the Red Army launches some belated counterattacks which are easily contained.

I'm preparing 2nd Pz Armee and 4th Armee for a push against Tambov

AGS Turn 58

While the action up North centres on Moscow down South I am strengthening my lines in front of Stalingrad and clearing enemy units.

Along the black Sea no opposition and 1st Pz is forming up for the drive on Grozny.

Losses Turn 58

The Red Army has again taken big losses, almost 250,000 casualties.

Trapping Tank units is getting rather hard as they are now few and far between.

AGN Turn 59

Trapped a couple of small pockets and have reached the reservoir more or less.

What Russian forces that are left here are in no position to do much, I seem to be able drive them back now quite easily as they just don't have the numbers.
