Coloublindness - Option to to change all "in game" default colours

Post by Taipan61 »

I have colourblindness, and with my version I tend to see greens, yellows, oranges, reds, and browns as being more similar shades of colour than normal. This issue doubles down when under low or artificial light, and for me this makes for a frustrating in game experience in a number of areas.

Take supply as an example. Trying to work out what units are in low and/or out of supply at a glance with the current "shades of green" variant is an absolute nightmare .

The game does have the option to change the HQ unit designated colour through the Unit Admin tab which is something I use a lot. Please could this option be expanded with a new tab in the Preferences field where you could designate different colours for the all the in game colours, be it supply or even down to the map colours for the different terrain.

I understand I am part of only a small majority of the population who has CVD, and there is numerous other in-game improvements that are much further up the priority list, but if this option could be at least put on the "To do list", it would be very much appreciated.
