Where did my Corps go?

I am playing an ELO PBEM game as Axis. Challenge ID 320248. France surrendered in June 1940.

Since then I have garrisoned Brest with a German Corps to avoid the Partisans spawning there.

In August 1941 my Corps was no longer there and the Partisans spawned. There were no Allied attacks in the area. I didn't move it away.

Any idea what happened?

It's not a major game changer but it was a little frustrating as it cost me a Corps and a couple of turns to destroy the Partisans.

Hi Pete,

Unfortunately I can't say with any certainty what might have happened here. I looked at the challenge on the server but the oldest turn I could review already had a Partisan at Brest.

We haven't really heard of any similar reports for something like this, but I'll keep an eye out for it.
