I'm guessing you refer to Decisive Campaigns Ardennes and the Steel Tigers game.

Vic has a big following. But we've been hearing of Steel Tigers for so long it's starting to deserve Duke Nukem jokes :)

Second Front, Southern Storm, Stalingrad version of Desert War, Campaign Series Vietnam, a few more I can't remember. But nothing imminent AFAIK.

That's a great line-up, but not as imminent as we would like! I know the obvious that CS Vietnam is scheduled for November, and quite awesome of them to patch in the new changes to CS Middle East, as well.

Not sure of the other titles, but hoping Second Front on Steam gets released sometime soon. I have no idea, really. Also looking forward to Panzer Battles Moscow from JTS.

There are a few potentially promising wargamish titles on my Steam wishlist, but this isn't the place to discuss them. [;)]

I'm curious about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeD-3aXTXTc

Kinda sucks it's not in English, and I haven't found anything in English about it, but maybe you can use translate on YouTube or something...

Generally speaking they're going to make some sort of super hyper realistic wargame - something à la Europa Universalis - but as I understand it set in contemporary times; they inform they're starting crowdfunding, issuing shares, blah, blah, blah....

edit: I'm rather sceptical about "super hyper realistic wargames" but who knows maybe something good will come out of it...

I don't know about hyperrealistic, but the graphics sure look like they will be quite impressive. It looks like cutting edge visuals, but might be no more 'game' inside than a panzer corp experience.

I don't there is anything radically new, just very 'pretty'.

Until I see a reason to say otherwise, this is just what we already have, with an expensive new dress. Not that I have a problem with a fancy new dress of course. But I'm not in a hurry to buy a new computer just to wear it.

Did a little sleuthing and found the "Play of Battle" devs have a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pobonline/). Looking at their Facebook page, I found a news page (in Polish), but you can use Google to translate.

I doubt that these short glimpses of in-game graphics (what looks slightly like Panzer Corps) are what we'll get in the final product. The game isn't even in early access and besides my understanding was (on the basis of what they say) that it would be modern conflict, like NATO-Russia stuff.

Actually, if the game is what we can see in the glimpses, I'll probably not be interested since if I wanted to command three (divisions? regiments? brigades?) consisting entirely of tigers, I'd probably play Panzer Corps 1/2... I don't think that games like Panzer Corps, Order of Battle, Unity of Command, Strategic Mind,*** and so on, can be made significantly more realistic than what we're being served now. It's just that their formula isn't particularly susceptible of becoming realistic simulation. On the other hand, if the game was to become something more like Gary Grigsby's War in the East/West kind of thing, I'd be a lot more interested...

edit:
***What's more, I think we don't need any more games like that. I certainly don't.

Looks like the graphics in the YouTube video are actually from their yet-to-be-released Total Tank Generals

To quote
"Total Tank Generals offers a hybrid gameplay of classic, hex-based strategy and cards game."

I don't mind cards usage in games. but it tends to force totally random into a game that's trying to be totally accurate at the same time. They tend to mix like oil and water.
