1.01.02 WAD? Surrender rather than retreat.

I am not sure if this is a bug, but I have not seen it before. Using the .02 beta, some of my Soviet divisions are surrendering on being attacked. Looking closer, all of them were stacked with a fortified zone, which of course surrendered, but the stacked units also did rather than routing/retreating/etc. In the attached save, this happened to the 45th Tank Division around Vinnitsa and to a Tank and Mech division near Odessa. Is this WAD, or perhaps the surrendering FZ is causing them to also surrender or something else?

it is probably how the message displays.

for some reason, the result 'retreat'/rout/surrender etc keys off the worst that happened to any given unit. So the FZ surrenders and the others do something else. Check in the lost units display to see if they are actually lost or have simply done something like rout?

I can confirm that the divisions are gone. Of course there is nothing that is different between the divisions surrendering vs shattering, but in the same turn I do also see rifle and 1 mechanized division routing/retreating.
