Game Scale

I can't seem to find a scale for the game map. That would be very helpful in setting up scenarios. I'm thinking it's probably flexible but what would be the approximate scale of the map be?

Well if you figure the average house takes up around 1 hex and the average 1920s house was 750 to 1000 square feet that should give you a good idea.
