How to save all AT brigades T1 as Soviets

Just convert them to a support role in a HQ. They will flappyflap out of the pocket. Can also be used in later pockets on infantry brigades. Tis cheesy, but might not be a bad idea to make it so units can not become support units if they start the turn isolated? Peace

Remember this tactic for Leningrad if it ever gets cut off in Winter. Not necessarily AT brigades but Inf Brigades to get units into Leningrad. Then you can form Divisions with the brigades if you have to. Be prepared just saying.

Early on, the soviet AT brigades will be disbanded

In turn 32, I believe. I guess that can count as early on if you have a 41-45 perspective.

But if they gain guard status before that they apparently do not disband.

Some AT Brigades disband on T-32, some you can disband earlier if you like

I prefer to disband the ones I can. They are difficult to keep up to strength and use alot of Trucks. YOu have other priorities for your AT guns
