Didn't Einstein prove that time moves faster the closer you get to the end?

Just turned 60 myself. It's pretty horrifying.

When I was 25 I thought that everyone over 30 was ready for the bone yard. Now that I am 64 even 80 doesn't seem that old to me!

I have said this to people about age forever.

I'm 58 but I'm blessed to feel 35, so age truly is just a number.

I wish that I could tell you that it gets any easier, but it doesn't. It seems like every month I get word of somebody passing, it happens all too frequently these days.

Years ago, I was working with a grizzled WWII air force veteran. He kept two sheets of names and dates, one listing people he knew who had serious medical emergencies and the other listing those that died. I thought it was a bit depressing, but now I know that was just how he never forgot to remember his buddies from time to time.

Oh, happy birthday!

I made a key decision at 50. It involved among other things ditching my old self. You've heard of second childhood, I went back mentally, even if not physically. I have no plans to be an adult ever again.

I recommend it. Adulthood is not worth anything. Been there and I know from experience.
If I seem immature, great, it means a lot to me that I don't seem mature. Immature is not the insult some want it to be.

Time does seem to speed up as you age. Actually, I was so successful, that I managed to reset that clock. Time has actually slowed down again. It is of course speeding up in the usual fashion. Everything in 2014 seemed to go a lot slower but I was only 2 at the time. I'm 9 currently. It feels weird some days. But I don't really mind.

You probably think I'm kidding, I'm not. Yes, I agree, I sound quite smart for a 9 year old. It's ok.

Now if you don't mind, it's time to go and play. I'm building a model of a Tamiya 72nd scale Mosquito FB Mk IV/ NF MKII.
I think I'm going to watch the Bourne movies as well.

Never trust adults. Never trust anyone that doesn't talk to teddy bears. And never trust anyone with no active imagination.
Best part of being a kid again, I don't really need human opponents for my wargames. I can play against my toys (and they don't cheat :) ).

LOL! It's all perspective?
I'd take fifty again. I'm just shy of 70 by almost two years.
If I make it that far I will let you know what it feels like.

But, I am sure that an eighty year old will tell us that they would take seventy again?

I'm 24.6 years older, at least older than your ties!

But, I just served my country for almost 10% of my life. Therefore, I know nothing.
