for Erik

Post by MrsWargamer »

Yes, dear, I know the rules, they're dumb, ineffectual, biased and worthless.

But you already knew that.

You can and likely will ban me. And any that actually know me, already know I don't consider being being banned a great loss.

I'm here because why not. But I've already moved on, as I have said in no small number of places.

My last few game purchases were on Steam. I used to champion Matrix Games, but, we are all aware, well those in the know at least, that it's called Slitherine Group for a reason. I have respect for many in the Slitherine camp, but you've failed to live up to my expectations.

Not that I'm special. I'm not.

Perhaps if you actually had a clue what you were doing. And moderating sure isn't one of your skills.
The forum software here is old, clunky, and frankly clumsy. You control one of the biggest wargaming hubs in the hobby, and yet you operate an embarrassingly ineffective forum program.

The guys here refuse to use FB, and maybe they have cause. But at least it isn't old. And even FB is yesterday.
I get my social discourse through other means these days.
You won't be missed.

Surely I've spelled out this message eloquently enough Erik.

Do what yer going to do Erik.
But spare me any form of posturing.
Spare me any indignation.
And for pity's sake, get off your pedestal.

Play with Legos 10% of the time.
Build models 20% of the time
Shopping 60% of the time.
Exlains why I buy em more than I play em.

I don't understand why this keeps coming up. You've been here too long to not know there is a zero political stance in the forums. Starting the thread like you did is just asking to get locked/banned.

Right, that's a permanent ban then.
