Turn ends premature?

Post by AlvinS »

Greetings

I just upgraded to 6.0 this morning. While playing the Mega Campaign I accidently hit the F9 key. I was asked "Do you want to surrender" I selected no. Then my turn ended :(. I was at the beginning of turn 4 of the first scenario in the Mega Campaign. I thought if I selected no it should have left me in my current turn. I need all of the turns I can get :D .

Any ideas?

Call me butter fingers. :) I definitely won't do that in the future. I was wondering if it was supposed to do that. If you answer no it should put you back where you were. Oh well, live and learn. This game is great. The only feature missing is the one that automatically orders flowers for my wife after I have been playing more than 8 hours straight. :D

I'm sure that this has come up before, and that pressing "N" (as in don't want to surrender) immediately finishes your turn.

Apparently, the correct way to get around this is to press "Esc" rather than "N".

"Turn ends prematurely" :(?

I believe that can be treated with medication. Or just concentrate real hard on something else while you are playing. :D

Didn't Bob Dole do a commercial for this problem sometime?

Bob Dole: I would like to discuss a problem that has been a source of frustration and anxiety to many American males... Premature Turn Cessation dysfunction.

oh wait that commercial was about not being able to get the game to load without help... :D
