So how do you use a naval o-chit?

World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

I mean the UI of the game. You're supposed to be able to allocate rerolls to fleets sent out by a commander before combat, as I understand it.

So what do I click (or right click) on exactly? and when?

There are two versions of the naval o-chit. The one you mention here has never worked to my knowledge. I'm not sure the other version works either. There is an option setting for them - what have you chosen?

All the options, if you mean the game setup, are just all checked.

So whatever that does. From reading the RAC it looks like you should get a choice, but 'PickHQForm' looks like it's not been implemented.

That's fine, it's probably a bad way to use an O-chit anyway. [:D] But just wanted to be sure that I'm not just doing it wrong somehow, the UI for this game is explained far less well than the rules.

Using the O chit this way is probably by far the wisest way to spend it by USA. These rolls can deprive the JA from 2 or 3 or even more of their most valuable CVs, totally unbalancing the naval warfare in the Pacific.

Looking at the rules for a Naval O-chit it seems that it would be pretty easy to implement this by hand. That is, manually keeping track of the re-rolls and entering them into the form yourself.
