set static (germans)?

Post by MagStrat »

I meet the requirements. And yet I have no way to put my (german) divisions in static mode. Does anyone have a clue for me? Thank you!

Currently the game wont allow you to put units that withdraw/disband in static mode. It is on the list of thing to be changed, but not a high priority one.

PS: I would suggest you to NOT use static mode as the Axis. The benefits are not that good and the drawbacks are quite large. You need flexibility especially in the later war years. Static mode kills that flexibility.

ah, in 1941 it doesn't work - thank you very much for the information! I thought I could save truck capacity and thus improve the supply in winter 41/42.

I would only use static mode in the south, for the garrisons in Odessa and the ports there, basically a place you don't expect any soviet naval attack to happen, but still have to garrison just in case.
