Remembering a Wounded Soldier

Post by Wild Bill »

We've all heard about the men being lost in the continuing conflict in Iraq, men from various countries.

A medical doctor and an US Army officer, who has been a faithful supporter of gaming and of SPWAW wrote me yesterday. His name is Dr. Mike Oshiki.

I've corresponded with him ever since the time of the Gamer's Net till now.

He has been wounded while serving in Iraq. He suffered a severe wound to his hand and will be going to Walter Reed Hospital in an effort to save the use of that hand.

Mike is a good man. He is a healer. I am writing this to ask that you keep him in your thoughts. If you are a praying man, remember Mike.

He is a good soldier, a good doctor and a good man. We should remember him and so many others still in harm's way.

he is in my prayers for a quick and full recovery.

Here's a candle for all of the men/women serving in Iraq as part of the coalition force regardless of nationality. May they all complete the mission and return safely home to their loved ones.
