Doing well. Flying out in the morning to the Mayo Clinic. Tests on Friday. Surgery on Monday. Should be back home by the 21st. Then at least 3 weeks recovery and done. Some post cancer appointments. But kicked cancer ass. Booyah!
That is very good!

That's fantastic news, Marc!!! Good luck with the surgery! [:)]

I lost a parent to cancer. So anytime I hear that someone beat it. That one of the things that make me happy. Glad you beat it....GP
Same here, GP. My father died from it when he was a year younger than I am now. Very happy to hear Marc's news!
Am I just getting to the point where I don't need as much sleep? Doesn't matter what time I go to bed, but I always wake up around 6am....GP
One of our cats wakes me up almost every day as the sun is coming up to "touch his food". There's plenty there, he just wants me to take him to it. He has me trained well. [:D] The problem is that most days I can't/don't go back to sleep after he gets me up, no matter how late I stay up the night before. I'm a night owl, so I'm up late often.

Sounds like you are coming "of age" then! [:D] At a certain age I started having a max 5 hour sleeping period with a required afternoon nap to make up the shortfall. And I don't have a cat - but my bladder provides the wake-up call. [:'(]

I have to say I'm a pretty lucky guy. In addition to finding my perfect match and actually getting her to say "Yes" to marrying me, I have managed to meet (by my best count) 7 different Thread Brothers and 2 additional forum members in person over the years. Every one of them has been a pleasure to raise a glass with. Now, plans are in the works to add another Thread Brother to my in person collection next month. I'm quite looking forward to it! [8D]
BTW, my "collection" is no where near as nefarious as Chickenboy's "collection" of ex-PBEM opponents, but I have managed to survive a PBEM match with him and multiple in person meetings. [:D]
Mike, I'm getting there. Economy is done. China is done. Merchant fleet is partly done. Just need to go through all the TFs & combat units to figure that part out. Fortunately, I have spreadsheets with what's where so that'll help a lot.
