updating game

I bought the game directly from Matrix. Every time I have used the update game in the intro screen I always get an error and the game does not update. I have to come here to the forums and search on how to update the game. Is there a fix for this?

Hi!

1. Download from the latest beta https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4824133

2. Copy the unziped files to the game folder.

3. Profit!!!

I think it was version 1.02 that had a bug in the Auto-updater - it was not updating any further. If you manually download any patch or version beyond that, you should have no more issues.

sotetvan: even if you wanted to download the latest beta version 1.09.07, you have to download it over 1.09.00. I have the latest auto updater version 1.05 and it still doesn't auto update.

I found that to download 1.09.00 you have to get into your matrix account (hit HOME at the upper right of this page) and if you have registered the game there will be a download option to download the latest version 1.09.00. You can also download the latest auto updater 1.05 (but the auto updater as I have said doesn't work).

Never used the 'auto updater'; always just downloaded & extracted the patches.
Applied them where needed, sometimes running 2 versions.
