I could get used to depth charges that work in the deep ocean! We put 7 hits on that sub in port and then this penetrating hit!

700 supplies at Bataan...I started moving two days ago some units out...they stayed in reserve no pursuit mode, even while the IJA attacked today.

Maybe I should stay...I started to leave to avoid taking heavy losses in a forced retreat. Perhaps staying in the x3 terrain is better move...700 supplies won't go far, Bataan has forts 2, and is jungle.

Long Island and company arrive off San Diego...will go to my shipping hub at LA.

Wasp comes in a day or two, fast battleship in 5 days.

I think I am probably 10 days or so of launching the Baker to Tabby operation...so end of June. Then Aug to Sept for Marcus Island to Pagan operation assuming no CV losses.

Dispatched some large US subs to take supplies to Singers from India.

Continually amazed to see the reinforcements coming in...

China increased their supply level again! Have I turned the corner?

Moving units to Bataan should draw some of the supply at Clark field in as well.

Another attack at Clark AFB...our largest division popped out of reserve no pursuit mode in great position causing a 1-6 attack. A lot of troops are 3/4ths of the way to Bataan...but maybe I would be better off holding at Clark AFB in the x3 terrain....gonna have to think on this.

Today was definitely a good die roll.

There is 0 supply at Clark, 750 at Bataan roughly.

How much if any supply are you slipping to Bataan? to Clark?
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I am working hard to establish recon all along Japan's perimeter, and probing his perimeter with taskforces...to appear and then disappear.

Where I can we are pushing forward, Darwin/Broome, Kalgoorlie road, Northern Burma and Chittagong.

Here is the northern Burma push, which might not be detected yet...

I decided not to defend Ankang...no supplies, no forts, and the ever present danger of his tanks pursuing across the river or into the mountains gaining lots of momentum...pretty sure the retreat path would be north into the mountains from how the AI makes units move into Ankang...but I wasn't 100% positive.

rather I evacuated and got out all troops with the exception of these laggards with a starting value of 0 AV. They managed to not get destroyed, and managed a retreat and best of all not get pursued by Japans tanks.

Well done...but it is sad to give Japan a forward base, but it was better than the other options.

Neither side is doing a good job of recon here, and while I infiltrate a division and a corp into northern Burma, I am happy with that.

A welcome addition, the warships were hanging out and doing shakedown cruises while they waited for the Wasp, rather than go into San Diego, Xmas or Pearl from the Panama Canal.

With a 38 night time experience rating the Wasp needs a little work too!

Always like it when our patrolling ASW Task Forces engage IJN Iboats. Here we have a twofer, one off Canada, and the other Australia.

China is done for...and I have some hard decisions to make about which troops will make the final stand in the mountains, and which will die to not be reborn.

I have lazily let the HQs that have respawned sit in Chungking...I probably should have sent them out to die again...or put them in a place to not eat supplies. Probably a minor point.

Our US TOE Corps are in good shape, but we need supplies for them to fight well. I need to check their ID Unit number...so either they fight in Chungking, or fight in the mountains I think rather than use them along the Ankang road somewhere. I think somewhere along the mountains where they can at least get supplies flown in from Ledo is their best use. Save the best for last?

It would be nice to have them at Chungking with those six level forts, but the SOP for taking Chungking is to surround it first and then bombard for a month or two...and I don't want to lose them that way.

I probably could have taken Canton and Baker a month ago, probably should have while quite a few of the IJN CVs were off Australia...but I wanted to run a chain operation and make it to Tabby and secure the Gilberts and wait for the Wasp. Not to mention so many reinforcements arriving.

I am hoping to do significant damage with the Cats at Arorae. Makin is still in Allied hands...would be nice to setup another CAT base there...but returns would diminish after the first attack.

If Japan decides not to defend this area, we will keep pushing into the Marshalls, albeit in a smallish way as the true thrust is at Marcus and Pagan.

Finished off a previously damaged Iboat...

Clark AFB falls...but most of the troops had evacuated to Bataan. Not sure if this was the right move, but I thought I would experiment a bit.

Finally got Japan enticed into attacking the Rboat at Cochin again, an aerial strike...will see if we can surprise him this turn with something unexpected.
