Performance Question

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Performance Question

Post by TitaniumTrout »

I'm running this in windowed mode, not DXWND, and it takes a fairly long time to accomplish some tasks or outright locks up. I can't run DXWND as I'm not able to do screen captures. Is there anything I can do to improve performance?

Also, does the game output a log for a given day so I can parse through what occurred?

Can you tell me what screen captures has to do with running DxWnd?

Without DxWnd:
You will need to set it in Windowed Mode for the most enjoyable experience.
Set compatibility to Windows 8.
Make sure you are running the game as administrator.
Try turning on the "DirectDraw software Emulation button. That helps for my system.

Everything should run fast and smooth. If this doesn't help I'm not sure what is happening.

Thanks, I'll give this a go.

DxWnd doesn't allow me to screen cap without exiting the program. I'm using ShareX and doing a screen section, not the entire screen.
