Thailand

Post by GenSlack »

I couldn't find any topic on this in a search of this forum, but can anyone confirm the current rules for Thailand's entry? The manual says 50% chance per turn to join Axis once the Axis player occupies both Hong Kong and Indochina. I did both of those requirements against the AI and waited turn after turn but Thailand did not join, and I ended up just invading. Presuming I didn't just have incredible bad luck, is there some new requirement? Thanks.

Hi

I've checked the scripts and those conditions are correct, it therefore looks as though the dice gods have not thought fit to smile on you, at least not in this area.

Bill, Does it matter how you get Indochina (by conquest or event)?

I believe that I also had a similar issue with Thailand not joining the Axis. As I recall, Bill told me about a script that could be disabled, so that Thailand would automatically join on its historical date.

It doesn't, as there's a script for each eventuality.

Just to clarify, the script is disabled and just needs to be enabled.
