AGC. The positions I am in now are similar to the positions I was in when Sveint isolated 1/4 of the Russian Army in a previous AAR. Hopefully, the same won't happen again.

All ports in North Africa are in British hands.

Africa falling in 41 is BAD for the Axis.
You get enough LC you can knock Italy out of the war and the Germans have to pull back a quite a few units to stop the drive toward Germany...Once the US joins it will get really ugly for the Italians...
I suspect they have to fall some units back now.
I think garrisoning the weak Russian units is a requirement...they are there to just soak up German efficiency.
In the swamp...perhaps put your cavalry so they can move back and put up a ZOC, which is really what you want. Maybe a mech if you have too.
The armies...well I guess the weak ones might be okay...

He will definitely have to put some units in Italy. But I don't know how critical it will be in early 42. He already has Sicily crammed with units and most of the rest of Italy is outside air range.
Next time I will consider putting cavalry in the swamps. I usually put them in the North to keep Finland honest. But you may have the better idea.

SEPTEMBER 12, 1941
Over the last two turns 11 MS have been sunk; but the U-Boats have taken 8 hits. So not a bad exchange.
The last Axis units in North Africa surrender.
The Axis isolate Leningrad. My cavalry returns the favour by cutting some Finish units out of supply. The difference is that the Finns will be saved. Leningrad will not.

AGC. The Axis appear to be running out of steam (I hope). But Moscow is still at risk. I will probably need help with the weather.

3MS Sunk and 2 U-Boat hits.
The Western Allies ponder what there next move/invasion will be. Sicily is the obvious choice, but it is heavily defended.
A rather poor turn for the Russians. They didn't lose much geography, but they did lose 2 tank corps. The first was the 3rd Guard Tank that was lost because it refused to retreat (it was set to hold) and ultimately was overrun. This is always annoying, but an understood risk.

But the loss of the 4th Tank Corps is very frustrating because it was destroyed due to a known bug. Namely that sometimes a unit will surrender when it doesn't have a hex to retreat to, rather than being shattered and sent to the Deployment Queue like it should. That is over 400 points of production lost.

AGC. I make a few attacks in the hopes of increasing my Russian national experience level (it doesn't work).
