Persevering German Player Wanted

Hello!

I am an old player of strategy games, but a beginner in WiTE2 (I have one ongoing game against the German AI, and I am an ardent student of M60's Red Army Academy).

I am looking for a German opponent to really punish me in 41, trying to knock me out, but still willing to stick with it and defend the Reich until the end all the way to Berlin, should Barbarossa (and/or Blau) fail.

Proposed settings (server game):
Grand Campaign 41-45, no early end.
Beta Patch (I suggest we use the latest beta patch and upgrade as new are released).
Unlocked Theatres (I believe HLYA shows how to use them well as the axis here).
Unlocked HQ support (I will lock/unlock my own when needed).
Free Motorisation (I urge the German player to use it liberally to get as much of an edge as possible in 41)
No Air Assist (I will likely use it anyway most of the time).
No Soviet Assault HQ's until T24 (I will not use any assault HQ's until turn 24, the turn when 500K Soviet manpower is released in preparation for a winter counter-attack).
Paratroopers (Free to use in a historical way, meaning mostly as ground forces and possibly very limited drops on some occasions in support of offensives).

My use of the TB is just me experimenting with it at the moment. So please don't take what I am doing as "The Thing" to do. I am still in the early stages of researching how best to use.

You are much too modest. I would say that your theatre box experiments are both very sensible, and very unlikely to backfire.

Dang wish I had seen this post sooner! You sound like a perfect opponent for my first Person to Person WitE2 game, as I still have been letting my Staff (AI) handle all the Air.
