In the newest ww2ol patch they added a matrix games loading screen, is it just general advertising or is matrix games now the publisher of ww2ol or somthing?

I was about to come in here and post the same thing. The question is...is it advertising or is it a partnership?

If that's "keeping it quiet", the announcement to the world should be impressive indeed! :D

Maybe you should put the blame with Strategy First (worst) as it was their call when it came out not CRS.
Sci-fi channel SUCKS.

The CRS should of went to find another publisher

As it is now

The game is graphicly outdated and fallen way behind the curve
Id rather play BF1942

But ill be quit now
I dont want to trash the announcment

BattleQuake1942- World War 2 Vehicles, with unrealistic characteristics
WW2OL- World War 2 Vehicles, with realistic (Or trying to have) characteristics.

BattleQuake1942- Small Map, Unrealistic Physics/Damage Model
WW2OL- Huge map, Better physics/damage model

WW2OL & BQ1942 can't be compared :)
The CRS should of went to find another publisher

First, they couldn't find another publisher, especially considering they probably had a contract with SF to say they couldn't leave them in an X ammount of time, otherwise they would get a lawsuit (No joke)

As for the graphics, who cares? Good graphics does not = Good game
Good Gameplay = Good Game

They are working on a new graph engine (unity2). The current one is 2-3 years old, but works ok. (with a view range of 3000 meters)

Recently ww2ol got transports and lmgs. Theres a hoist in the transport which you can use to lift equipment into the ship.

Lol Herts.
I may have to give it another whirl in the future myself (for the 3rd time). I still have the original CD so.... that makes for what? 8 hours of broadband patch downloads??

Doesnt work that way. Something about contracts being hard to get out of ya know. Just ask Paradox and Thirdwire after all, since SF did the same or worse to them.

Have fun with red team, blue team 1942quake.

Hmm Matrix Games appears in yet another element of wargaming.......

Maybe David really is the One :)

Maybe I should call myself Morpheus hehe.

Hey I said it first remember, looks like David might be god hehe :)

I am not reeeeeally a fan of online gaming, it's a cash thing, just don't have the cash, likely never will to be able to play an online game regardless if it is cool.

But I consider this a nice bit of news all the same.

I hope the venture is a good one for Matrix Games.

Hey David, any chance of Matrix Games branching out into board games :) seems like there is nothing you can't do man.
I LIKE that my life bothers them,
Why should I be the only one bothered by it eh.

Sounds good. CRS really needs a partner, and I couldnt think of a better one than Matrix Games.

I enjoy wwiiol (mostly) and loved the crap out of Matrix's "Campaign for the South Pacific" and am really looking forward to "War in the Pacific: Struggle Against Japan".
