Distant Worlds: Universe Can't Save or Load Ship Designs

Hello,

I recently installed distant worlds onto a new pc and drive after having played it in the past. I ran into problems where the game used the old drive file path for saves and ship designs--or rather-- my old C drive and different username.

I was able to make the game default to the new save game file location and path by making a new save, but haven't been able to do so for ship designs. How can I force the game to change the file path for ship designs so that it doesn't use the path from my old pc drive? Thank you for any assistance possible.
