You did a great job in China during 1942 and was thinking that I was going to lose the Capital... but was able to hold periously my third line of defense along the great river south of Chungking until the last turn Feb 1943. The fact that the French did not surrender until August 1940 was important as I thought that this would delay Barbarossa. But I was wrong and you boldly attacked during April. As you mentioned this game was decided around Smolensk and Kharkov during fall-spring 1942. The Russians were getting around 900 MPPs per turn (Not a single MPP was lost in the USSR convoy lanes) and soon they were an unstoppable force pushing towards the West. I did really liked your defense of the Balkans and the Western Front, were the Allies were not able to advance beyond the small beachheads...
All told, the Allied strategic bombers level 4 were also decisive, lowering the German income to around 390 MPPs per turn, the Luftwaffe nowhere to be seen in Europe.
