While the Hex Pop-up tells you:

Major/Minor River
Good/Average/Poor Roads

All you get is:
Rail

This is inconsistent. Plus it is often difficult either because of unit counters on the map or the zoom level etc. to see what sort of rail is involved in a hex. The Hex Pop-up should include a suitable identifier:

Double/Single Rail

The rail mapmode hot key { r } might also very usefully assist here to visibly see whether hexes have Double or Single Rail, so that you can prioritise the Double hexes with the rail repair units. All of the icons appear exactly the same in this mapmode, and if units are visible on the map at the same time and/or you are zoomed out, it is impossible to gain an overall view of the Double Rail. Rather than having the option to view just Double, the icons in hexes with Double Rail might be more prominent. Perhaps slightly reduce the size of Single Rail and increase the size of Double, rather than designing new icons? However it is done, this is a significant new feature in the game, yet the various interfaces don't assist the player here, especially in areas where there are some Single and some Double Rail in hexes such as around cities.
