Concur! When that show was on, my father was still with us... and he grew up in that time frame of that show. He would have been 100 years old in April. What drove me nuts is that he would sit and critique the show for doing things the wrong way.... like milking a cow and not squirting some to all of the several waiting cats, or hooking up the plow mule the wrong way. Grandma even had the huge triangle in the yard for calling the critters, young'uns, and workers for lunch.

Well, it was huge to a 8 year old kid!

Are you okay? It has been a few weeks I think since you been posted. Have you been chasing the young . . . ? [;)]

Well, I am doing fairly well for 72 with a 20+ year old bypass. What I have are aches and pains beginning with working in a warehouse after school for spending money, loading ammunition on the tincan on which I served , or helping my Dad build a bridge over a ditch with cross ties, or being the anchor man for carrying a refrigerator up stairs. Lots of heavy work when I was younger leads to some aches and pains which are well beyond aggravating. Even the Dr. has told me to slow down - so I have.

Well, the pain lets you know that you are alive. Some days I am more alive than others.

Just like when I hear a baby cry in a store or someplace, it can be annoying but I like to say that at least he/she can cry because not of of them can.
