Campaign, either side (Closed)

Post by tyronec »

Looking for an experienced opponent.
Server Game
FOG of War: On
Movement FOW: On
AI air assist: Off

Am trying to look at house rules that would bring the game closer to balanced, don't know if this does it but worth a try.
Enhanced Player TB control: Off. I think this is a major advantage to Axis as things stand, so better to play without it.
No temporary motorisation.
No para drops.

Adjusted assault HQs:
Soviets get 2 in Dec '42, then as in the rules (4/5/6 in '43/'44/'45).
No increased command capacity for Assault HQs for either side. This is going to take some careful player management - so as Axis don't increase Corps above 9 CP and Armies above 27 in '41 and so on and with no overloading at any time.

Air war. No GA except Axis on T1. Primarily because of the current issues with fighter intercepts. This will really change the air war because it will all now be about GS. Actually for me I thinks this makes for a better game - simpler and more emphasis on the ground combat.

Maybe 2-3 turns per week.
Will do an AAR.
Can PM me to discuss.
The lark, signing its chirping hymn,
Soars high above the clouds;
Meanwhile, the nightingale intones
With sweet, mellifluous sounds.
Enough of Stalin, Freedom for the Ukraine !
