ORIGINAL: jjdenver

2nd attack is in south.
Raw odds 35.5:12

I calc modifiers as -4snow, +7winterized (not sure if 5 of these would be halved by river crossing or not? so if they are it's 2.5 less).
Antonescu and Zhukov are both involved or near and can commit to their side.

Axis air that can fly is shown. SU can counter with a 5 strength 5 range FTR.

Axis will choose table.

Image
Germany will add the ART, and the 6-strength LND2, for defensive support. The 7-strength FTR2 will fly escort for the LND2. They will land in the hexes they flew from.

No HQ support.

42 ND i7 allies (cont):
Debark:
US GAR to Rouen

Combats:
South attack no Red Air counters. But 1 AA gun fires and rolls exceedingly well (6,10,6,6,6) to abort the Stuka completely.
Zhukov will commit in the south.

In the north attk Axis have 2 lose 2 units. Which 2 to lose?
**pls ignore the "shatter" in screenshot as Allies will retreat the surviving unit instead of shattering. I didn't want to go through to take a diff screenshot - I'll do that after Axis decide about which unit to lose. Thanks for understanding.

Impulse #9 (Axis)

Land: Germany
Combined: Italy, Japan
Naval:

No port strikes.

Naval Air:
Italy:
NAV3 (Brest) -> Bay of Biscay 3-box

Naval Movement:

Japan:
BB (Fukuoka) -> Tientsin - embark INF Div -> South China Sea 0-box
2 BB + CA (Batavia) -> South China Sea 3-box

Italy:
SUB (La Spezia) -> CSV 2-box

The Italian NAV3 in the Bay of Biscay begins to search for Allied shipping.

Axis decline to reinforce the sea area.

Allies can send one FTR3 to the 0-box of the BoB? Will they do so?

US had a LND3 in Portugal that could reinforce BoB as well. I am continuing without checking if it should be added since it doesn't affect things (as far as I can tell). If you want it added I will add it after the fact.

How many points of GS Axis can bring to that hex (if you attack) in south where AA can fire?

I checked it. No AA thank you.

That went as well as expected. [:D]

This, however, creates a need to re-evaluate the plan of action. And the hour is getting late. Plan to continue tomorrow.

I was not expecting 100% accuracy, but I was prepared for some hits. I agree, that in this game ground strikes are not Axis best weapon.

Odds to not hit anything was 0,9%

Thank you for calculating the odds. Such trivia is always fun to know. [:)] [&o]

Just shipped the save over to Germany for additional land moves. Sorry for the delay. Entirely my fault. [:(]
