This site may have been reported before, but anyone checked out http://www.nntk.net? A great source on the battle for the Arnhem bridge (written from a Brit's perspective - but hey, what's wrong with that?)

Absolutely nothing ! :)

Glad you like the site - although if you use my Arnhem Links page you'll probably find some even more comprehensive ones!

Hi Ian,

Let me take the opportunity to congratulate you for your impressive site.

Not impressive by the quantity of the information or it's didactic/multimedia presentation, but by the quality of the documents presented. Diary, letters, newspapers, all of these to form a feeling of being part of History.

Not too sure I expressed my feelings correctly though.

Keep up with the good work, mate.

JeF.

Thanks JeF - feedback much appreciated!

I know there is no way I could compete in presenting the amount of material available on some other Arnhem sites - just haven't got the time or resources available to me!

So, I am just trying to plod along slowly adding stuff that I have collected relating to the battle, concentrating on documents published around the time - I find them very interesting, so I hope at least a few other people will too!

As you say, I find reading these original documents, particularly the newspapers, is sort of 'atmospheric' and, I think, brings back some of the mood of the times.
