No screen capture with OBS

Hi, Alvaro!

Just got the game today and I can't get OBS to capture the screen. I noticed there was some kind of error concerning Microsoft networking (I think) when I ran the .exe file and when the game icon appeared, it had an Administrator Shield on it. When I start the game, it asks me if I will allow the game to make changes to the device?

Note that I have WarPlan as well, which I bought from Steam and it doesn't have a Run as Administrator shield on it. I also have no problem getting OBS to capture the screen of Warplan. I also made sure that I am running the same graphics settings on WarPlan Pacific as I am on Warplan.

Sure would like to make some videos, but at the moment, I'm stumped.

Have an advice which might help me out, please?

When you DL'ed WarPlan Pacific did it automatically have the game icon "Run as Administrator" shield on it?

Yes and same thing for Warplan. Both Matrix games version not Steam.

Hmm...

I buy my games from Steam. None of them have the "Run as Administrator" shield, and I can record all of them.

ATM, it is the only thing I can think of that is preventing me from recording WarPlan Pacific. But I will keep digging around.

Okay, I was searching around and I noticed a comment that said if you are running a game as administrator, you have to run OBS as administrator too.

Now I have to see if running OBS as administrator will mess up my games which are not run as administrator, and if so, how to take away the run as administrator from OBS when recording my other games.

By running OBS as administrator I can now record WarPlan Pacific. [:D]
