multiple combat glitch

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

multiple combat glitch

Post by kewdo »

Hi,Sometimes, but not always, when I make a multiple hex combat the icon comes up but nothing happens when I attack. Also if I try to make the attack from one hex as a deliberate attack it makes a hasty attack. Both instances where this happened were across a river, if this is relevant. I've logged out and restarted the game but for these attacks I can only make a hasty attack.Has anyone else experienced this.

There's a limit to how nmany units can be involved in an attack, 40. This includes HQs ground and support units. See 15.2 Types of Attack unofficial manual.

There's also 12.1 Hasty Attacks and 15.2.1.1 Recon by force, 15.2.2 Deliberate attacks that are possible coming into play. Finally 15.6.3.6 Cross River attacks were disruption can occur, thus increasing fatique which in turn reduces the units CV

There maybe other stuff that I've forgotten.

All=in=all yes it's possible for all this to happen, especially accross a river.

It's that 7 year period of time when you thought you were an adult. These days it's more like 20 years [:)]
