LBA not naval attacking

Post by chicago227 »

Ok I'm having issues with LB not attacking naval targets. Morale is 99, commander is aggressive, no over stack. What other issues could there be?

Bad weather over airfield, bad weather over target, low NAVS skills (squadron can't find the ships), targets were out of range, high fatigue of pilots, detection level of targets wasn't high enough or detection level was 0 during the air phase, random dice rolls (sometimes something goes wrong even if everything was set up perfectly).
Send screenshots of your settings and the part of the map if you want more details.
Also look into your operation report, often there is a hint for the cause of not flown air missions there, especially if the cause was bad weather.

1. Size of airfield

2. Lack of intel

3. Weather

4. Lack of escorting fighters

5. Range

6. Experience

7. Leadership - being aggressive is not the be all of leadership

8. Inadequate base supply

9. Inappropriate time phase

These are the most common factors.

One other factor - if the bombers do not have appropriate escort and enemy fighters are to be expected, even an aggressive commander might balk at the mission.

Just like all those bombers at the Battle of Midway?

I am referring to the game behaviour. What happens in real life does not have to match the way the game is programmed.
