Good suggestion, RJ, but I only did 10 years, so I don't have base privileges as part of retirement.

If you have any VA rated disability, you should be eligible to use the military commissaries. How is your hearing?

Get your hearing checked, that should be a disability if you were ever around a lot of loud noises including firing a weapon. That does not mean that if you wore hearing protection that you did not lose any hearing capability.

Also, get your medical records and go over them. If you strained you back or anything and now have problems . . .

Thanks RJ, but I had all of those options to attempt to apply for disability when I was getting discharged from active duty and chose not to push the boundaries of the system since I didn't and don't have any disability from my time in. I can, and do, shop online sometimes at the Exchange: shopmyexchange.com
