From the article if we change English to OE and Acadian to Armenians in 1915 in WW'1 similar it seems. Both nations didn't want militia in the back can cause problems. But they did go extreme. There are many instances in history where not only ethnic groups but religious sects deported by force. Another one Tzar to Ottoman Empire from their religious beliefs.

Was there a personal reason why you chose Malakanlar in your search? Is there a difference between Malakanlar and Molokan? or, Are they the same? Reread the Molokan site to it's fullest trying to find a connection to Malakanlar and, or To Armenians as you phrased your first post.

No not from Kars or Molokan [:)] 1878 to 1961 Kars people call them Malakan(lar). Same meaning like Molokan(s) in English plural form. Like Cossack(s) Kazak(lar). I've looked at Acadian(s) in your topic as Acadya(lılar) in Turkish.

I've read the text in both English and Turkish it isn't different from documentaries by Sinan Kıyanç. But lacking some detail. 1919 date was missing. Kars occupied from 1878 to 1919 by Russian Empire and Molokans, Armenians, German and even Estonian communities settled in. After Russian withdaw some Molokan families also depart. Those stayed didn't work with Armenian revenge militia in 1919. Kars was border region in total chaos. And new immigrants coming from Caucasus.

They don't have any connection with Armenians even with Slav Cossacks in Bandırma. Only 1 Cossack, Molokan marrage happened I've read even though each community were shrinking.

Thanks for the link, have gone back to it a number of times for a moment of respite. In doing so looked a little further for info about the "Oak Tree". Notice the bronze placard(s) in the below link..
