Notes:
(1) A 10th theater has been added, (China)-Burma-India (CBI), where (China) is specific to Western Allied major powers.
(2) Note that Asian is, and will remain, specific to the China major power.

By the way, adding the China-Burma-India (CBI) theater is personal for me. My dad served in that theater, specifically India, from 1942-1945 during WWII.

He served in the US Air corps during WW2 and got out briefly after the war. He went back into the US Air Force at its founding in 1947 and retired from it in 1962 as a master sergeant.

Below is a picture of my dad in uniform and mom shortly after the war and just before they were married. My dad passed in 2003 at the age of 82 and mom in 2011 at the age of 85.
