Update v1.06.01

I just wanted to update to v1.06.01 in my steam account, but the update stops without finishing. It shows just "content file locked"
Resumeing or deinstall and re-install does not work. It always stops with that.

Sorry to hear about the trouble and to be honest not sure what this could really be exactly as it sounds like something Steam specific and not likely related to the game itself.

Thanks for you quick reply.
Luckily I found the issue. There had been a Windows-Update hanging that i didn't notice (shame on me). Once i fixed this Windows update issue, the problem with the v1.06 update was solved as well [:)]
I guess your link to helpdeskgeek would have lead me to the same resolution. So Thanks again!

The f**k are you talking about? The most recent version is 1.6.00, or is it? I updated yesterday, and no newer version is available. Well that doresn`t work, so perhaps there`s a newer Version indeed.

The most recent version is indeed v1.06.00, I'm guessing this was just a typo on his part.

Then officially: V 1.6.00 doesn`t work, at least for me. There`s no entrenchment possible, the POPUP-Menue shows an empty hex. Modding didn`t help, I gave all nations trench1.

The surface also shows SC WiE, not SC WW1.

To confirm, is this for the Steam version, or the Matrix version of the game?

Also, can you explain what might mean by surface shows SC WiE?

It`s the Matrix version, and the starting screen shows SC WiE, not SC WW1.

Something is definitely not right then. I'd suggest a full uninstall and reinstall and starting with just WWI to see if that helps.

I just suggest this as I can confirm that the latest WWI Matrix patch works on my end as expected. Perhaps the WWI patch was installed to the wrong folder? Or the WiE patch was installed to the wrong folder? Just sounds like something got crossed up.

Was it from an auto-update or a download and install of the patch?
