O.K. Let me try and grasp this. The U.K. uses India as a cash cow and milks them of many of their units. So how do I defend the country when the Japanese, fresh from squashing China, start landing units from Calcutta to Pakistan?

You must be outsourcing your Indians.
Try defending the home ports, keep them on home soil.
Sri Lanka isn't worth defending nor really taking.

its knowing that the afrika corps lead by Rommel wanted to defend abyssnia; Egypt (el cairo) its the same as Casablanca at Marrocco By Americans, Germans didnt wanted to take el cairo as just a single owner

I like to invest in India. It is much easier to reinforce the Middle East/South Asia from India than from the UK. They have a decent force pool and I mostly focus on Infantry tech and maybe fighters. I will often shut down the convoy to build up there MPP's, especially if they are under threat, once the invasion threat to the UK has passed. Building a HQ early can give their units some staying power.
