AA guns/port defense

Post by boldairade »

How do they work? do they fire at planes launching naval strikes?

if so, is it before or after the planes attack shipping?

In our first PBEM game, the Axis attacked Malta continuously while positioning an Italian sub next to the port. I had 6 AA in Malta but have never done any testing to determine what effect AA has on enemy air units attacking the hex.

Each gun hits 50% of the time
Then air rolls defense to see if it takes a loss or converted damage
