Victory Conditions

Post by Madaoke »

So I've got every city that's worth victory points and the soviet army almost doesn't exist anymore.
It's the summer of 1943, I read that there is a check at the end of 1944 but do I really need to click next turn for more than a year now for a victory?

Apparently yes, if you don't play with the sudden victory/death conditions

After the July 1 1943 sudden end check (which is bugged now and doesn't actually happen before the initiative switchover as it should), there is no other way the Germans can win until the late 44 check. At some point though it will become clear to you that the Soviets are not going to make it and you should declare victory and start another game (at a higher difficulty level if playing against the AI [:)]).
All understanding comes after the fact.
