Two Questions Reinforcements and CAP

Post by canuckgamer »

In the manual it indicates that a unit can be reinforced up to 20% of it's maximum strength in a turn. I noticed in our PBEM game that even when I prioritized only one unit for reinforcement and allocated enough PP's to reinforce it by 20% that the maximum strength points a unit gained was 5 strength points. For example, I was expecting my 30 strength land unit to gain 6.

Secondly can someone confirm that a CV will only send 50% of it's air on CAP when attacked? Also, will the air go on CAP regardless of what mission they are currently set on?

Thanks.

Actually I may have made an error in my calculations regarding reinforcements and will be testing it again this turn. The fractions are rounded up so as an example, a 30 strength land unit costing 360 would require 8 PP's allocated to reinforcement/upgrade for each PP to built up. Correct?

Should round down in computer code. But I believe I calculated it by total not each strength point.
