Manual says...tutorial?

So just started reading the manual and on page 13 section 1.1 of the Light manual it says:

the player will find a separate Tutorial
Guide that provides a step-by-step experience that touches on the major aspects of War in
the Pacific, Admiral’s Edition™.

But I don't see that file in my manual directory.

Where could I find this? Or is this a typo?

Yes, and that link to Randy Steads thread is a good thing to read as well. He ran into problems playing the game and was offered solutions by many people.

Yes. Coral Sea is the shortest scenario with limited things to do with land units and air forces. But learning how to handle carriers and their air units is a vital part of the game.

Guadalcanal is a much longer scenario with much more Land Unit and LBA involvement, but logistics is limited. The amounts and locations of supply are pre-set - no bringing in massive amounts of supply or fuel from the US!

Some players prefer to use the "1000 mile war" (Aleutians) scenario as their second learning situation. It is more of a grind with logistics building up to enable base building and LBA against the enemy. Eventually you get to sending out an invasion or two (at least when playing as Allies).

Sometimes when I tire of the long grind of the Grand Campaign, I try the Marianas Scenario. Not overly long but lots of power for the Allied player to play with ... but a tight timeline and dicey logistics. You need to make hard choices with definite priorities to take all three target bases (Guam, Tinian and Saipan) before the end of the scenario.
