Had our initial walk through at the house today with our builder. Marking things with blue tape and explaining how several of the systems work, etc. Things are getting real now! 12 more days until closing. [:)]

Good morning!

My Journey (albeit slowly) in WITP-AE has begun.

I am documenting it and if it leads to anything I'll post in the AAR section maybe

Several AAR writers have posted that the process of trying to write an AAR forces them to organize there thoughts in a way that helps their game! [:)] If you have ever tried to explain something complex to other people you will have experienced this "I must understand this topic thoroughly if I am to explain it to others" moment.

And of course, you can ask for input on questions of how the game handles things or what your next steps should be. Experienced players often hold back some details of ops plans until the ops is launched because sometimes people reading AARs on both sides of a game accidentally let something slip.

To make it easier to do the AAR, many players post only a weekly update and selected combat reports, perhaps with monthly maps to show the situation. Posting every combat report creates a lot of clutter so it is hard to find the important info IMO.

Thank you BBfanboy, good points all around and will take your advice if I ever create an AAR.

It doesn't help that work is becoming very crazy just before, during, and after my move.

What's all this then? [&:]

You're either being very funny (which you can be at times [:'(] ) or you haven't seen my almost weekly posts with house construction updates in THE THREAD!!! It's been an 18 month process but we close on the new house on November 29th and are moving in on the 1st of December. [8D]

Ah. So. I don't get around these parts very often anymore. Truth is, I plum forgot about your new house! Well anyways, congratulations!
