Those are both great vids.

Two takeaways for me from the Wochenshau; the distribution of Panzerfaust's looks much higher than what I've ever been led to believe; literally every other man was carrying one, actually it almost appeared that other than the MG crew, everyone else had one. This is higher than the usual 1 in 3 ratio most sources provide. Probably given out liberally due to the offensive, but still, any Ardennes scenarios should take this in to account.

Several of the soldaten were very young; there's a boy riding on one of the tanks, towards the end of the video who looks very young. I mean like 12-14. However on some of the young men, when the camera zooms in, you can see the wrinkles around their eyes which is a clear sign they've seen stress from some serious combat. Wrinkles are not normal for an 18 year old; I didn't notice mine until I was in my early 30's (the combat I saw in the Gulf War at 24 y.o. was minimal, and I was Infantry). Most soldiers on all sides smoked back then, which has an effect as well.

Anyway, thanks for those.
