Splitting/recombining division

So I tried to break up 1st Rumanian ID, and can't even after unfreezing. Not sure about Movement points, I only see CPP which is set to 100. I was able to recombine 8th Rumanian ID but now cannot split it. Any ideas?

In current game, I literally broke-down and re-combined the 5th RM ID, 10 times, in succession.

I do know that game requires at least 1 MP to be eligible. But it does not expend any MPs.

No idea what the problem is in your case.

Are you using the editor to unfreeze the 1st RM ID? If so, unfreeze the division, (right side bar click on freeze tab at zero) go to the off map unit box and assign movement points (including SMP) and then return to map. Confirm it has MP's. Make sure it is highlighted in the side bar to the right. Click on the divide/combine box in the top bar.

Yeah, I figured how to give MP and SMP, so I could recombine the regiments back into division. But if I want to split it again it doesn't work. Maybe I have to give SMP again? At any rate, since I could accomplish what I wanted I would think this is all some Editor quirks.
