Fighters not flying escort

Hello all,

I just updated to the latest beta in an attempt to fix some problem where not a single fighter across the front flies escorts for my bombers (playing Soviet vs. AI). Is there some toggle or switch somewhere I may have hit that turns GS-escort on and off, similar to the GS-escort button on the Info Screen toolbar?

I've looked at air directives (varying escort settings from 0 to 100 to 200), the air assist AI switch, individual units and airfields, and i cannot for the life of me understand why 400 bombers fly into 100 german fighters and not one Soviet fighter feels like helping them.

Occasionally the Soviet fighters will fly elsewhere during the mission, as sometimes 20 of them get shot down doing something other than escorting, but the combat results always show a flat 0 fighter escorts.

Can you attach a save? If this is an MP game, let me know what players are in it and what turn it is. With the latest versions, I'm not seeing problems getting escorts. The usual issue is lack of range on the fighters, but can't say without a save.

We've figured out that the code that notes how many bombers have been launched is missing, so no escorts are generated. This will be fixed in an update that we hope to get out within the next week. Thanks for the report.
