Bug in WITE2

I'm playing Stalingrad to Berlin as Soviet player against AI. There are 2 hexes near Stalingrad, 273,161 and 272,160 that refuse to be occupied by Soviet units. One is a rail hex that is severely hampering my ability to move supply to front line depots and fuel to airfields far to the west. Every turn I occupy those 2 hexes with Soviet units and use a rail repair unit to repair the rail hex. After the AI finishes the Axis turn, the Soviet units have been mysteriously removed from those 2 hexes and the hexes returned to Axis control, without an Axis unit anywhere close. I've repeated this over and over for many turns, always with the same result. When I reported this to Slitherine, they called it a game play issue. This is not a game play issue, it's an obvious programming bug, and a serious one.

This is about the third time I ask you to state your game version. You can't expect any help if we have to guess what's wrong as this was an once known but squashed bug.

Yes, we need to know the version or see a save, as this bug was fixed many versions ago.
