Also is there any reason why png is not supported for the attachments?

png works I just attached to one of my posts earlier

you need the full url to hook it up. Most image hosting sites will give you a short url or a full one, which one you need depends on the target forum and matrix want the full one as:

[img]https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/6350/8BicG5.jpg[/image} (I've broken that link with a } to show the syntax).

In the main don't use .png, they are larger and thus slower to load. The advantage of png as a format is if you are doing layers but for most screenshot things, just use .jpg
