Actual Field Example vs Model Design

Post by basilstaghare »

Im trying to understand why my newly researched Quad MG actual field design does not match up to the model design?

Model: Soft Atk = 168/664 vs. Actual Design = 42/166; hard attack is 84/168 vs. 21/42; Hits are the same for each @ 336

In all other cases, new designs have superseded older models but the twinbarrel MG is better in firepower that the field example of the Quad...

Thanks for any help in explaining to me...

This model attacks 4 times per round (as indicated in the icon with 3 triangles). If you multiply the numbers by 4, they match (the way combat calculations work, average number of hits the unit will deal does not change if attack is split into several that add up to the same number).
