War in the East II (Steam Version) didnt run...

Post by MajoGaming »

Hello (ERutins),

as you said i start a new Thread here.

The Game didnt run! The Launcher starts but if i push "Play" the Game doesnt start...Maybe it is a mistake with the 32-BIt Steam and 64-Bit Windows? Because i could see the .exe working in the Backround but i cant go into the Game....

My DxDiag is uploaded here too

Thanks for help!

Thanks. Looking at your DxDiag, a few concerns:

1. You seem to have both integrated graphics as well as a dedicated GeForce GTX 1060. If you haven't done so, it can increase compatibility with some games to disable your integrated graphics as the OS or BIOS level to avoid confusion, unless you need it for some other reason.
2. Your Intel HD Graphics 630 graphics driver is from 2018. If possible, I would suggest updating that.
3. Your Realtek High Definition Audio driver is from 2017. If possible, I would suggest updating that.
4. I see a fair number of video and audio codecs installed. You may also benefit from trying this tool to see if it helps: https://www.videohelp.com/software/Codec-Tweak-Tool
We've seen instances in the past where certain rare third party video/audio packages can prevent the in-game videos from working and in effect crash the game.
5. Could you double-check that you have DirectX 9.0c installed and enabled? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... px?id=8109
