"Format": "bold" command in GuiFonts.json is not working?

Can't get it to work. There is absolutely no difference between "bold" being there and "bold" not being there.

"italic" works fine, though.

Examples, if I can get the dang picture upload to work, that is.

Unbolded:

Bolded:

See any difference? Because I don't.

I should add: It's not a huge issue, it's perfectly legible (at least on high zoom, it's quite different on medium, where the font becomes pretty hard to read at a glance, unlike the original release version), and I can always change the font to an inherent bold one which the software can't mess up, which is what I'm currently using), but it DOES make the "format": "bold" command in the GuiFonts.json file pretty useless.

At least I'm not the only one seeing it. I was convinced that I was missing something obvious. [:)]

Same. I am trying to edit FONT_MAP_30, "format": "Bold" or "bold" looks the same.
Again same problem with a font itself. Looks like it make no difference if i put same fake font like "xxx".
No changes to an end result.
"italic" works
